BioLuna is the only daughter of Alfred and Sileny Lovegood. At the tender age of nine, she saw one of her mother’s magical experiments go awry, an event that killed Sileny and allowed Luna to see Threstrals. At the age of eleven and three days, Luna started Hogwarts, making her the youngest person in her class. This, along with her penchant for reading The Quibbler and talking about the creatures that most others simply refuse to believe in has led to much teasing by her classmates. Luna took the pranks with a calm smile.
A staunch supporter of Harry Potter, she was one of the first to join Dumbledore’s Army and one of the few who responded to the call a year later. While she didn’t have a major role in the final battle, she hopes that the small contributions she made helped Harry in the end.
